Job Description

Our client is a leading technology company operating since the last 20 years. Due to the continuous growth within BPOTech, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of a Vice President of Business Development to join our already established and successful sales team. Following are the required details

The role of Vice President of Business Development will involve:


·       Generating new opportunities from previous contacts and developing new contacts

·       Working with marketing and demand generation to develop strategies that target key sectors. 

·       Establishing and developing relationships with any key decision makers within prospective new clients that you have identified to heighten the Company’s chance of securing any future outsource activity

·       Work with business intelligence teams to researching background information on potential new customers and to fully diagnose customer’s needs

·       Forming and leading a ‘bid team’ comprising operational, technical, HR and executive level input where necessary and clearly brief the team on required input to achieve bid success

·       Producing new business proposals and responses to tenders and ensure that team produce effective documents to the required standard

·       Undertaking sales presentations, co-ordinating relevant colleagues input, and taking overall responsibility for the outcome of each pitch

·       Ensuring that all members of the team conduct presentation in the appropriate way

·       Acting as an internal consultant on new business and client issues as required


·       Meeting all individual monthly and yearly sales targets



We are ideally looking for candidates with the following background/skill set:


·       Extensive experience in a senior client services and/or sales role 

·       Considerable experience within various aspects of the technology sector (Digital Assets such as website and mobile applications, Social Media Management & Digital Acquisition, BPO sector (e.g. Contact Centre) and Staff Augmentation 

·       A strong team player with a proven track record of identifying designated market sectors and specific accounts that have the potential for development into high net worth accounts and/or have a company structure where there are multiple buyers of direct marketing services

·       Demonstration of an excellent range of effective communication skills with the ability to adapt styles according to demands of the audience is essential


·       An essential requirement is the ability to persuade and influence others with proven negotiation and sales skills and the ability to work at a senior level
